Will I retain my copyright?

All stories are owned by the original author and can be used in other publications and formats.

How does this work?

You submit your work and if chosen, we will let you know what episode your story will be featured. We will also ask for an author bio and some anecdotal information to add to our blog post about the episode. Authors will retain all copyright to their work.

What is The Story Tree looking for?

We are looking for stories that will engage kids and parents. Our audience ranges from 2 to 8yr olds. We like all sorts of stories; funny, emotional, touching, weird, lyrical, and adventurous!

How will publishing my work audibly help my author brand?

Agents and editors want to see publication credits under your name. By having your work published here, you are able to link your episode to your author website and bio.

What if the author would like to use the narration to publish an audiobook?

We would love to work with the author to publish their story on audible. If the author would like to use the narration of their story to publish an audiobook we can privately negotiate terms.
